Kevin was born in New York City and grew up between Miami and Rio de Janeiro where his family is from. He studied photo journalism at the Art institute of Miami. After working for many years in the world of commercial photography, he later was introduced to set design and fabrication. With his passion for storytelling and a newfound trade of woodworking, Kevin’s artistic practice aims to marry the two worlds. 

Combining photo, collage and sculptural elements, his work focuses on spatio-temporal relationships, creating narratives through objects. Using past experiences, memory and personal engagement with the natural world.
